The Trans Tasman is for athletes in the U11 and U12 age groups, from both NSW and Auckland. Every second year, a team from NSW (boys and girls in both the U11 and U12 age groups), travel to Auckland for the Trans Tasman Tour. On alternate years, a team from Auckland travels to Sydney. We are now calling for nominations for the Trans Tasman Tour Committee, please click HERE for the nomination form. Next season the Trans Tasman Challenge will take place in Sydney in January 2015.
The Trans Tasman Tour usually takes place over 10 days, during which children get the opportunity to meet with people of another country and learn about their customs, as well as take part in several athletic competitions, culminating in the Trans Tasman Challenge.
For the away tours, there a few bulletins produced. The No. 1 Bulletin includes the nomination forms for both officials and athletes.
The No. 2 Bulletin includes all other details.
